Here is my artist's statement:

Jerry Barmore is a Chicago based photographer with over 10 years of experience in shooting location, studio, and live performance images. His style is eclectic and the images he creates reflect the range and versatility of his technique. In his work he strives to exhibit the highest level of respect for the subject so as to create images which are appreciative and dignified, even when they are edgy and provocative. In his projects he works to deliver images which are commercially appealing and visually compelling. He is especially interested in working with subjects who can incorporate dramatic and theatrical expression within the context of themed glamour images. One of his persistent artistic aims is to capture the character of the 'femme fatale."
